Hello, I’m Ruth!I'm an interaction designer, entrepreneur, and design educator with expertise in human-centered design and strategy.

I work with with startups, non-profits, and enterprise clients.  My work often encompasses elevating the human experience by designing for collaboration, connection, and conversation. Lately, I've been obsessed with data science, behavioural design, and cybernetics.As an educator, I launched Myplanet’s Fellowship program, a design and technology incubator in Canada, providing mentorship in product design. I currently teach at Startup Institute covering: UX Fundamentals, Research Methods, and Design Ethics.I am the founder of Crush Club, a social experiment to change the way you approach relationships. I am also the co-founder of 50 Shades of Frames, to provide a thinking tool for creatives, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter.I recently completed my MFA in Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts and was selected for the Paula Rhodes Award for design excellence in my class.. . .These days I'm keeping busy with a few exciting projects:+ Design Research at The Membership Puzzle, to figure out how to restore trust in media by learning from analogous membership programs.
